   the food is always excellent but this time the service was very slow and the restaurant wasn’t that busy. The bar was loud due to one rowdy drunk guy. All in all we still live this restaurant.

   I went for lunch with 2 friends and we had great service! The Salad Niçoise was by far one of the best. The tuna was seared to perfection and the dressing was flavorful and light. Just the right amount of all the ingredients and the right portion size!! Having dined there a couple times for dinner which is always good this was fantastic!!!

   My wife and I found our experience joyful. Anticipating a draft whenever the door opened, we selected the mezzanine which we found to be intimate and quieter than near the bar. For our starter, we shared the crepe du jour. A meal in itself. We then ordered the Poulet Frites and the Gnocchi a la Parisienne as our entrees along with the Brussels Sprout Gratin and Button Mushrooms Provençal as our sides. Each entree was enough for two people as were each of the sides, so we went away with quite a bit of food for another day or even two. Given the portions and quality of the food, prices are rather exceptional.

   We were looking for a great dinner spot on a Monday night while we were in town for business. Augie's was the perfect spot! The service was spot on, the food was outstanding and the wine list was delightful. We all loved the decor and accents, as well. 10/10

   Definitely our favorite restaurant in Sonoma County. The food is great and the service is beyond compare. We celebrated our 56th anniversary there last night and were treated like royalty.

   FIrst time having lunch at Augie’s. Took the SMART Train from Petaluma Downtown (could have used Petaluma North). I got a $6 pre-paid round trip to the Santa Rosa Downtown station and found out that seniors could travel for free, at least until June 30, 2025. It’s a 13 minute walk from the but it’s a 4 minute Uber ride. We got there at 11:00 am and were given a menu and a place to sit in the sun until the place opened at 11:30. Love the fact that they have the WHOLE DINNER MENU available at lunch. And my favorite server, Ali, was our server. We ordered French Sancerre white wine by 5oz for me and 9 oz for my friend. If one more had come we would have ordered a bottle. MMMMMMMM APPETIZERS * 1/2 Dox local oysters OMG! * Escargot with black truffles. Good, but wished I ordered the standard ones. * House-cooked french bread and house created salted butter. OMG! * Coquille St Jacque OMG! Scallops like no other! * Frogs Legs. The last time OMG this time good. * Liberty Farms Duck Liver Terrine OMG!! With onion fig marmalade. It was our #1 * Crepe Suzettes for dessert. * Great coffee to match it. Service A+ with my favorite server Ali! And I think the front of the house person was one of the owners. She made sure everything was going close to perfect. A little less phrenetic than the dinner time. Probably because it was mid-week.

   I usually have great meals and good experience at any Starks Restaurants. This was not the case last night. The hostess was not very friendly. Our waiter had zero personality and was cold and robot like. He never came back to ask how our food was. Which is the next point. I ordered the special Cod dinner. I have to say it had absolutely no taste. NONE. Really not impressed with any of our 3 dinners. Sorry to say....we will not be back to Augies French.

   Best place for lunch- love the menu. Great options- crepes, Croque Madame/monsieur, soup, salade nicoise etc

    Service by Michael & Josh was attentive…and delighted to meet Jill, Manager, who was so gracious, welcoming & knowledgeable about the menu! Food was bountiful and fresh…only disappointment was overcooked mussels…twice & the dish was removed from our tab😉
