It’s terrific to have a place in downtown Santa Rosa that’s stylish with great, authentic French food, and professional service. Of course, Augie’s is part of the Starks’ domain. I had perfectly executed frogs legs and a lyonnaise salad. Nothing but raves about both. For our late lunch, my less adventurous hubby had a well-executed medium rare burger with stellar frites. Lunch couldn’t have been better.

Fabulous as always. We enjoyed onion soup- it’s a meal in itself, asparagus with blood orange hollandaise, a superb omelette, gnocchi with toasted sage and profiteroles for dessert. Absolutely delicious

My first visit to Augie's. Love all the Stark restaurants and Augie's did not disappoint. The service was welcoming and efficient and the food was wonderful.

We really enjoyed the diverse menu at Augie's. In fact, our entire dinner was nothing but appetizers: duck liver, snails, sweetbreads, minced rabbit, oysters, frog legs, and French onion soup. I might pass on the escargot and rabbit next visit, but the soup, frog, and sweetbreads were the best we've ever had - anywhere! We are still raving about what a great find this restaurant is. Definitely go for the happy hour. Half-priced drinks and oysters. You can't go wrong. Excellent service too.

I feel like there are a million Sonoma County Cuisine places with lovely menus filled with the same ubiquitous items. Then there is Angie’s is authentic French food from Lyon. French folk consider Lyon to be the food capitol of France, and Augie’s delivers. The dishes are not overly fancy, but rather incredibly well-done food you’d find in an excellent French bistro. It is far and away the best French food in the north bay. Highly recommended if you want a delicious and less expensive trip to France! Augie’s is a bright spot for sure. Also, hard to find French wines, also a treat.
