The Autograph Brasserie reeled us in with the decor and attentive staff. Although reservations were made there was a bit of a wait which was a lil odd because there were a few tables available. We were sat near the bar area which was a bit noisy. The small plates and mocktails were tasty. We tried the Short Rib Poutine and Spanish Octopus. The entrees were just ok. The broth of the Moules was good. The 8 oz Burger was a bit too charred grilled, almost burnt. The truffles fries that came with both entrees were yummy. I would say suggest checking them out during Happy Hour.

Initially we’re going to be seated in the first booth by the entrance, thankfully they moved as further away to prevent getting a draft every time the door open. Service was very good however one of our appetizers, the duck was served with two huge bones, one each. It was replaced and taken off the tab but Very shocking to see the meal served that way. Also thought the halibut was a little bit spicy for my taste, but the salmon, chicken and short rib or tasty. No room for dessert or coffee. Did have a couple times where servers walked past dirty dishes on our table at the edge that were not cleared, minor issue. Service was attentive with water and iced tea refills.

Food was mediocre at best. Avocado toast comes with nothing. Added poached eggs and received one piece of mushy bread (not crisp toast) with a tiny amount of tasteless avocado watered down by the eggs. They didn’t drain the water from poaching the eggs so it was horrible. No seasoning. It was not good and so overpriced. Ordered whipped ricotta too and the bread was grill charred / smelled so badly. Why not toast it? Cant place down a plate of bread that smells like carcinogens. I don’t think there is a quality/consumer experience process in place.

I had high hopes for this place but was sadly disappointed. Ambiance is beautiful but more attention needs to be paid to the food. I ordered the trout and it came out severely undercooked. It was sent back and I was given the same piece of fish more cooked. I feel like they should have started over with a fresh piece. :( Not to mention any possible cross contamination from bringing my already nibbled on undercooked piece of fish back into the kitchen. Secondly, you can always tell how well the kitchen is managed by the bread and the salad. My salad had wilted pieces of lettuce— indicating not garden picked fresh and they were 6 of us at the table and four pieces of bread were brought out. When we asked for more bread — two more pieces were brought out. Prices were expensive- why so stingy with the bread? And.. you should always only serve fresh lettuce (no wilted pieces) and make sure that the food is cooked before it comes out of the kitchen. Not going to go back!

Came here for brunch with my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. Absolutely perfect! The service was top notch. I believe our server's name was Julio (please forgive me if I'm misremembering!) and he was sweet, funny, informative, attentive and anticipatory. The cocktails were incredible- I got an espresso martini and my friends had some of the signature cocktails and loved them. Everything we ordered was delicious but the standout was the seasonal breakfast loaf. This one was a banana choc chip with salted honey butter and it's one of the best things I've ever eaten- warm, moist and fluffy on the inside with the slightest crisp on the outside and absolutely stunning with the butter. Another thing that's great about Autograph is the ambiance. Each room is a different theme with (surprise) autographed celebrity photos everywhere. We sat in the cutest little booth with an Audrey Hepburn print gracing our presence. I want to come back asap and try a different room each time. One room is the "Butterfly room" with a huge tree in the middle and a fairylike vibe, another is like a gentleman's lounge with a big portrait of Tony friggin Soprano, a fireplace, velvet armchairs and an elk head on the wall. And their bar is music themed with records on the walls, circular booths and the craziest brass instrument abstract art chandelier above the bar. Anyway, thanks for reading my article here and definitely do not miss out on this place. Hard to find truly good restaurants in the suburbs and this one IMPRESSED <3

What an absolute delight of an experience. The service, ambiance and food were all on point. From salads, to short-ribs and cocktails, no one was complaining. Happy quiet diners, which means the food is delicious. Our Server, Val was fantastic, and made the meal memorable. We will be back!
