   AVA was really yummy, definitely stick to the seafood if you’re going to have an entree. We enjoyed everything we got except for the steak that we ordered but they did plainly say they’re known for their seafood.

   This is a highly rated restaurant and good for a Mediterranean fare. I would sum it up by saying if it were not right on the street in downtown Winter Park it probably would not be as busy. Food is good. I had a Filet, wife had ceviche. She really enjoyed it. Me, not as much. Filet was something I could get at Longhorn. Portions small, prices high. Service was phenomenal. Highlight was the cleaning lady Holly. She was funny and engaging. I'm sure some people might find her annoying. We did not. We went to Capital Grill the night before AVA. Similar prices, but lots more food at CG. I would go back to AVA next time. Although for craft drinks and ambiance on a beautiful day it's hard to beat AVA !

   It was an odd mix of great and mediocre. The decor, setting and ambiance were tops. Some food was delicious, others not so much. The waitstaff is trained to heavily upsell, which is unpleasant. Our waiter waxed poetic about the tomatoes in the $25 Greek Salad, however they had been refrigerated! Shameful, as they were mushy. Refills of Wine and beer were very slow to be served. Cappuccino was first rate, but lukewarm on arrival. The oddest thing was when the waiter explained that 20 % was added to the bill to share, but he would appreciate any additional tip for his service. So awkward!.

   Food and service was very good but prices a little too high for the portions received. i.e. A 5 oz pour for a glass of wine, was very expensive, and should have been at least 6oz.

   Excellent, friendly wait staff. Very accommodating and even moved us to a better table without us asking. Good atmosphere. Excellent delicious food would definitely come again.

   AVA was absolutely beautiful and the service was amazing. Our waiter, Juan, and the whole entire staff were so nice and attentive. The Greek spread trio was delicious and I could not recommend the grilled octopus enough!

   Food and service is great, but very expensive. Ava significantly increased the prices over time but I feel the quality slightly decreased. However, the food and ambiance is still very good and I am still planning on going back there for special occasions.

   The ambiance and the waiter (Nate) really made it worth it. It’s expensive though so it’s just good to be prepared for that.

    Food was amazing, fresh, and full of flavors! Service was impeccable. My branzini was cooked to perfection. Glad to discover this wonderful restaurant. Will definitely be on my frequented eating adventures.
