    Good food but a cold environment - seems more like a pub setting than a nice restaurant Wait staff was okay - again, fine for a pub but when you are paying $36 for an entree you expect some warmth. She was pushy and cold I will likely not go back - better service and ambience at 503 or Chanterelle for a comparable cost & quality

    Avanti is my go to happy high end restaurant. The servers and owners are wonderful people, the food is always amazing, and they actually likely could charge more than they do for the quality. They have a diverse menu in the classic American style with strong French and Italian influences on many dishes and the sides with various entrees are always beyond surprising in their flavor. Mark’s crab cakes are probably the best you will ever have in your life and if you are there when they have mushroom soup available it is an absolute must.

    After hearing glowing reviews from coworkers, I had to check it out for myself – and I’m so glad I did! I highly recommend making a reservation. We visited on a Friday night and were lucky to have one, as the place was packed! We started with the bread service, which was warm and delicious, and the crab cakes. Just a heads-up—if you're dining with more than two people, definitely order extra crab cakes! They were so tasty, but we each only got one. For our entrees, we chose the prime rib special and the scallops. The scallops were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the broccoli had a crisp, flavorful touch without being overpowering. The prime rib was massive, cooked to perfection, and practically melted in your mouth—it was so tender you could almost cut it with a butter knife. To top it all off, the key lime pie was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Given the quality of the food, the pricing is very reasonable, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The aesthetic is elegant but has personable touches to the brand. A truly fantastic dining experience!

    Great food, there were many different things we wanted to try and loved what we did get. Service was warm and helpful. Really enjoyed our dining experience.

    Seated by hostess then waited over 10 minutes for service. Finally went back to hostess to ask if our table had a server. Once the waitress showed up, my son and I both ordered. Sautéed Prawns with capellini pasta. The waitress asked “are you okay that’s it’s little spicy?” and we replied “yes.” When the meal was served there was no spice whatsoever; no chilli flakes as described on the menu. We told the waitress and she just said “oh, they must have forgot.” No offer to replace nor any ‘make good’ like a free drink, dessert or discount.

    It is the best Porkchop in the city if you like traditional chops.. Dame has the other great chop but they are very different. Dame has that spice and Carmina chile while this is a giant piece or perfectly smoked bacon
