Saturday night dinner. Dining room is right in the hotel lobby and main bar area. It was very busy and very loud. We had the tuna tartare first and it was great. Entrees were beef short ribs and a mushroom tagliatelle. Both were excellent. Great wine list. We ordered a bottle of French wine which was great and was the perfect “cellar“ temperature. There were several service misses however. We ordered everything at once and our apps arrived well before our cocktails. The menus were left on the table even after our entrees arrived. Our water and wine were never refilled. The waiter seemed rushed and stressed and it made us uncomfortable. Kitchen gets an A but all else a C-.

Normally hotel restaurants are either underwhelming or so over the top it’s not worth going. That is not the case with this spot. I was beyond surprised at how amazing of an experience it was overall. The crabcakes Benedict was absolutely amazing! I don’t think I’ve ever had quite as unique of a take on eggs Benedict as I did today. The chipotle aïoli that they use with the potatoes that come with the dish was beyond amazing as well. In fact, I wound up ordering a side of it because I could not get enough. The ambience was so uplifting due to the Christmas spirit being in full effect and to add to it, they had an incredible saxophone player, playing some wonderful music in the background. The brunch menu was quite extensive which I found to be filled with things I will go back to try. The drink menu could use a tad bit of work as there was nothing resembling a Moscow mule and that is usually the highlight for me at brunch. That being said, that is very minor and I’m sure most people will find a drink menu extremely filling. Overall, I will definitely be back and recommend.

Dinner and wine at Bacchus was great! Manager walked around and checked in with the tables. Service was great and we enjoyed a girls night out! We ordered the STRAWBERRY & BRIE BRUSCHETTA - it was okay. Then we ordered the FUSSILI AL FERRETTO- delicious!

Food was average at best. Definitely expected better. Citrus/Ricotta pancakes were bitter and had no texture. Very disappointing. Bacon was cold and oily and eggs were overcooked. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but Cracker Barrel has a better breakfast.

Expensive restaurant. Got the chicken white bean chili soup. More like a broth. Small bowl for $12. When we finally ordered, it took a while to get our food. Menu is limited. Decor is beautiful but a bit too open with the hallway, front door, reception, and lobby. After paying for overpriced food, we had to pay for parking. Parking is free for 90 minutes. They don't stamp your ticket. Also they have a policy of $10 per person if you cancel the reservation within 24 hours or are 15 minutes late for the reservation. Went there with two friends at my suggestion. No one was impressed. It wasn't crowded at all...I see why. We won't go back there but will go to the food court, which is fabulous.
