Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Bad Roman offers a vibrant atmosphere with "excellent service" and "delicious food." Highlights include "whipped ricotta," "lemon cheesecake," and creative pasta dishes. While it can get "a little loud," it's a "great spot for a fun evening" with friends. Service may vary, but the ambiance and flavors "do not disappoint."

I had Easter brunch at Bad Roman with my husband, brother, and good friend, and it was a very memorable and delicious experience overall. The place is beautiful and definitely has a wow factor. I really loved the overall aesthetic, down to the greenery on the ceilings and the snake handles on the bathroom doors. The food was also exceptionally lovely in terms of plating, and I was happy that all of the dishes actually tasted as good as they looked. We shared two orders of babka, pepperoni cups, and tuna tartar, and for entrees had the kale pasta, burger, carbonara baked eggs, and smoked salmon baked eggs. We ended the meal with the blood orange sorbetto and lemon cheesecake. The lemon cheesecake is presented in the form of actual lemon, which is so cute. The shell of the lemons is made of white chocolate and the cheesecake filling is light and fluffy. It comes on a graham cracker crumble bed and is presented on a decorative lemon plate. That was perhaps my favorite dish of all, but I loved everything that I tasted, which is rare. :) I look forward to coming back someday for dinner.

Food was terrific, but overpriced. Noise level was loud for a Sunday, but not egregious.

Overall I thought it slipped since the last time I was there . A bout 4 months ago . Food was like warm . The pull apart eggplant was difficult to eat The eggplant needs to be cut . Spicy Caesar salad was good . The babka was good but not warm . Overall just ok

Wanted to like this place but would definitely not recommend. To start the pepperoncini martini was horribly unbalanced, way too much brine in the drink. The babka and spicy gem caesar were fine but nothing to write home about. The chicken pasta was so disgusting my mom ate 3 bites and had them take it away. The kale pasta was extremely mediocre. We left before ordering dessert because we were so disappointed. The service from our waitress was terrible but received great service from the busboys. Will definitely not be returning or recommending to anyone.

I had a lovely lunch here with my mother in law. We split the Caesar & Lobster salads. Also had amazing lemon cheesecake dessert shaped like real lemons. We both did not think the prices very expensive for the level of food, comfort, location and service.

Expected more than just mediocre for the new place, went for lunch, when food came out, they brought the wrong dish, which took over 10 minutes, my partner almost finished with his meal . Prior to receiving my dish, a server passed by and I just happened to look up, he asked can I help you and all I said just waiting for my dish, his rude response was I’m not the chef, I don’t cook the food and walked away. Food was just ok, service lacking and rude comments was a big turn off
