   La nourriture est très acceptable dans un décor agréable. Par contre, le service est lamentable. Nous avions demandé à ce que les plats soient apportés qu’après les apéritifs. La serveuse n’a rien à écoute , et les plats sont arrivés alors que nos cocktails n’était pas terminés La serveuse n’a absolument pas suivi sa table, ce qui n’empêche pas de réclamer un service imposé de 18 % et éventuellement un sur Service de 25 $. Inadmissible.

   This was our best dining experience in several years. Our waiter Dimas was fantastic, and all of the dishes we ordered were excellent. We plan to return there when we are back intown and bring our adult daughters with us.

   It was New Years Eve so factor that in. Steak was prepared well. Decent cut for a ribeye but I’ve definitely had better. Baked potato came super basic. No frills. Not even butter. My wife’s salmon was not truly grilled. Grilled in a pan perhaps but wound up tasting too oily. Bosc Pear Salad was decent. Wine was really good. Opted for a Malbec reserve. I really appreciated that we were able to get a reservation for a table on the day of. The service was great and the waitstaff was super attentive but almost to the point of feeling rushed. Ambiance was just ok. Bathroom was literally outside of the restaurant and down a long hallway. That felt strange. I’ve heard their lunch menu is much better and the value is as well. Might try it again for lunch.

   Excellent Christmas dinner ! Fried cheese and tuna tartar appetizers were amazing! The gnocchi, steak were delicious! Great service.

   Elizabeth was our server and she was amazing. All the staff were attentive, friendly, joyful and festive. Our food was delicious and we loved the holiday vibe. We will definitely go back and request Elizabeth when we go back!

   Baires in the Gables is great. The food is very good. Try their milanesas. Sides are very tasty. The hostess/hostesses are all very welcoming. The manager is also very nice as are all the servers. Our waitress, Araxis was very nice and our food came out just like we asked. We are frequent visitors. They have a very nice tango show every third Saturday of the month. Very nicely done and short enough not to interfere with dinner.
