   We've been a few times before and as always the food and service were excellent. To our taste the restaurant was overly noisy, more so than I've experienced in the past .. perhaps that's to be expected on a Thursday before the bank holiday weekend and it probably added so some diners experience but unfortunately it detracted a little from ours.

   Very good service, staff was really nice. No waiting time for the waiter when to order food, they were very approachable clarifying our doubts in relation to the menu. The food was very good. Nice decoration too

   Service is amazing - ask the staff for wine suggestions they are extremely knowledgeable and ever so helpful. Food is fab, tasty and extremely well done. Overall this is a lovely place to enjoy food, wine and the company of good friends.

   The food is superb, tapaz style. All the food was great - the garlic prawns, cabbage with onion sauce, and the steak were to notch. Our waiter was very friendly and explained everything we did not know. Definitely would recommend.

   Nuno Costas's menu was inspired and refreshingly different from the norm. Well done, Bar Douro, on the Guest Chef series.

   Really disappointed with the last visit. Food was not up to the usual standards and a final bill of £150. Disappointing that wines are not available and not mention on arrival. Both options requested, that were a bit cheaper, and none available.

    We were given a table at the back, which was fine, but a bit quiet to start with. Food was great, except the rabbit which was a bit tough. I was expecting better overall, but nothing I can put my finger on. Bit average.
