Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Barcocina in West Town offers a vibrant dining experience, especially during "taco Tuesday" with "bottomless tacos" and a "margarita flight." The restaurant's "large patio" and "warm atmosphere" make it ideal for gatherings. Though service can be inconsistent, the "friendly staff" and "energetic vibe" enhance the overall visit.

Despite having a reservation, we waited to be seated for a solid ten minutes, the host seemed uncertain of where to put us, even with a reservation. Once we were seated, due to what we were told was a server miscommunication, we sat at our table for half an hour before we were brought water, let alone before our table was even acknowledged by any of the waiters. We spoke to the host stand twice before someone finally came to take our order. The runners were amazing, and started serving tacos (Taco Tuesday) a good 20 minutes before a waiter came to our table. The food is great here. The drinks wonderful. I have had some excellent dining experiences here in the past, But unfortunately, service was severely lacking this Tuesday.

There was a good variety of tacos to choose from on the All You Can Eat Taco Tuesday menu, but the food lacked flavor...not bad but not delicious. The servers were very friendly and the ambience was nice.

The brunch buffet is a great deal with the bottomless drinks and food. There is a large and very nice patio for outdoor seating. Overall a great experience!

Visited Barcocina to celebrate my son’s 26th birthday! A time was had. We enjoyed the Taco Tuesday event for $35. You get unlimited tacos served “churrasco” style (think Fogo de Chao) and a margarita flight. The place is crazy busy on Tuesdays! By the time we left, the restaurant was filled with people salsa dancing and having a good time! I can’t wait to go back in the summer. The restaurant is very spacious as well.

The pork and pineapple, jerk chicken and cauliflower bang bang were the best tacos in my opinion. The all you can eat deal is pretty good, if you just order tacos. The margaritas weren't that great, but for $10 it was also a good deal. I will say there was an issue with consistency. Some tacos came out hot while others were cold and not appetizing.

I always have a great experience here, I’ve visited multiple times. Great food, amazing drinks, the bartenders and staff are very friendly. Great place for a date or coming in for a night cap.

Queso Fundido lacked any real flavor. Truffle Street Corn Guacamole lacked any truffle flavor, and the associated sauce had a strong Buffalo Sauce flavor that was too strong. Chicken Tinga tacos were pretty good; rather spicy. Pumpkin Cheesecake Roll - could not taste any cheese cake (was it the filling?) and the cake roll was super dense. Churro Bites were yummy, but I believe the nutella sauce was actually just chocolate sauce. Environment is nice. Server oddly asked us to order each of our courses one at a time, after we finished each one, so the meal stretched out too long.
