Barra Fíon Tapas & Barrel opened our doors in July 2015. We at Barra believe that every great beverage deserves to be paired with an equally beautiful culinary experience. Our Spanish and tapas inspired menu is ever evolving, and our focus to maintain a fresh, natural, from-scratch menu is what we believe separates us from the rest. We have a small but ever changing selection of local craft beers and our wines are sourced from all the great wine regions of the world along with many hidden gems.

Barra Fion Tapas & Barrel is an integral part of the Gators Restaurant family, that has been a Burlington tradition since 1994. Being in the food and service industry for over 30 years Gator Ted's Sports Tap & Grill and Savouring the Moment Catering has been consistently delivering friendly service and inspired flavourful dishes.

    My only issue for our visit today was we ordered the bacon jam cornbread, in my opinion it was dry and tasteless. Everything else was delicious!

    Problem overcharge on the final bill. Welcome person not smiling. Bar, bartenders and live music was good but cannot hear the music in the main restaurant part. Decoration looks cheap but I guess Spanishy. Congratulations on the chefs for the excellent food though. Need to rethink service and upgrade decoration.

    First time at this restaurant and the food was excellent- ambiance was good and the live music was an added bonus. The only negative was my wife’s Gin and Tonic was more like tonic and ice!

    Regular visitors every couple of months. Food is always exceptional, fresh, flavorful. I am used to the slightly awkward seating arrangements, but totally worth it for the food. Why the low rating? We had reservations for 6 PM. Even with a reservation, it took them time with the lineup at the door to get our seats. An hour and a half into our meal, we were told that were required to leave within 30 minutes because the table was needed. We were not done eating. At no time where we told that the booking was only for two hours, we simply were told it was time to leave. I find this absolutely unacceptable. Not sure how I feel about going back.

    This was my 3rd time. The food was so delicious. We ordered 4 dishes and the amount was perfect. But the taste of the Corn Bread, Coffee rubbed steak, cauliflower bites and the curry muscles…. Amazing!! I know it was busy last night but we did have to wait a lot through out our sitting but wouldn’t stop me from coming back. Thank you!

    We went to this restaurant for the 1st time. We had booked a reservation and gone as it gets very busy. Service was quick around 5.30pm and our server was very nice and efficient. We tried their assorted tapas , salad and champagne cheese cake and the food arrived on time and was very good. The prices were very reasonable and the quality of the food was very good. Overall it was a good experience and will definitely go again
