    Bas Rouge is our first choice to celebrate special events in our lives because it’s always a top-notch dinner out. We are lucky to have such talent in this area- I’m talking about Harley Peet, Executive Chef. The entire staff delivers an elegant, but never stuffy, dining experience. There’s always little unexpected extras to savour.

    I have been to Bas Rouge many times for both lunch and dinner and the food is always excellent. This time however while food was still up to standards the service was extremely rushed. They rushed us through cocktails and dinner. Really not what I would expect for a restaurant of this caliber. Plus they sat a large table,8, of women in the main dining room, rather than a more private space. Again, not in accord this type of fine dining.
