The restaurant at the Bastione is a dream come true, on the shores of Lake Garda, a small jewel of Trentino – Alto Adige, which in all respects is a point of reference for the city of Riva del Garda. A versatile place that ranges from breakfast to after-dinner, with a cuisine that is attentive to the Trentino area and the Mediterranean tradition.
The restaurant is located next to a Venetian keep, dating back to the early 1500s on an area previously undeveloped, with the aim of defensive bulwark to protect the city.
In the 1950s a single-seater chairlift was created, which led directly from the town to the side of the Bastion. It was then decommissioned in the early 1980s.
Today, the new alternative mobility proposal, i.e. the inclined lift, will guarantee accessibility in about 3 minutes of travel, with a panoramic view of the Upper Garda area, important for the tourist context of the area and the whole Garda community .

                                              Never again. Booked it 2 months ago. Was very excited. Arrived at 19:50. Had a lot to celebrate. Birthday, anniversary and new house. We had the bill after starter, main and dessert af 20:55…. Waiters say nothing when order or serve. Manager is arrogant and want to make money only as fast as possible. When we finished our starter the other waiter was waiting already with main course 1meter from our table. I said to him : we dont have a train to catch. I am never ever disappointed about a restaurant and never complained about one in a review, but this was not ok. Absolute not recommended and far far far overprises. We paid 200€ for 55 minutes of treated rude and low quality food with both 1 glass of supermarket wine.

                                              This restaurant thinks that because it offers a nice view the service is comprised. 20 minute wait for a drink order. Food was average. Stay in town for better and better service

                                              bel posto, bella vista sulla città di riva del garda e sul lago di gard, molto bello di notte. location utilizzabile sia per aperitivo che per una cena galante. di solito non è un posto molto affollato e c'è la giusta tranquillità!

                                              Premetto che il menù ha dei piatti comunque abbastanza elaborati, ma nonostante abbia una lista contenuta i piatti sono scarsissimi per quello che costano e non possono neanche pensare di fare dei prezzi e delle quantità da Nouvelle Cousine se poi sono cucinate da Trattoria comunque. Buono, ma non ci ritornerei. Sono fortunati solo per la posizione.
