   We had the perfect Christmas Eve buffet. A lovely quiet table in the lower section as requested. The selections from the buffet were excellent…everything we could have wished for and more..well presented, hot, and delicious. The desserts were very festive and tasty. We were given a little gift of sweets upon departure..a very nice touch. Priced well…excellent value.

   The Bayside has been one of our favorite and special restaurants. The food is always excellent and the staff are friendly and professional.

   I booked a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was entered in the online booking form. Two glasses of sparkling wine and flowers were requested for the table in a separate requests box. On arrival, no acknowledgment was made of our anniversary. We were promptly shown to our table which had no glasses of sparkling wine and no flowers. I spoke with the staff member who had shown us to the table and referred her to our booking comments and requests. She made no apology, nor did she wish me a happy anniversary. All I got was, "We do not have any flowers" and off she went to see about the sparkling wine. No wine arrived, no flowers arrived and no acknowledgment by any member of staff was made regarding our anniversary throughout our dining experience. I have stayed at this hotel overnight on more than one occasion and frequently dined in the restaurant and had many good experiences, unfortunately, I will not be returning to celebrate any special occasions in the future, although I will visit the patio in the summer.

   Our table by the window was great … except it was quite close to the next table (and people). We understand that this was because of the building’s design though ….. and couldn’t be helped. Service and food was great.

   I came there with a teenager who was interested to listen to the live music we made our reservation for 5 o’clock as it said on the poster that the music began at 5 o’clock till 830. We arrived on time for a 5 o’clock reservation and we watched patiently the gentleman Setting up grabbing a drink tuning his guitar till almost 6 o’clock with yet no music. I expressed my disappointment to the waiter who told me that he often doesn’t start till 6 o’clock, and I suggested that this should be reflected on the website as it is deceiving, especially when people wanna show up early before the big crowd arrives to catch a little live music . I left with a very disappointed teenager who didn’t even get to listen to live music. We ordered two appetizers at 5 o’clock when we arrived. Ate it and left at 6 o’clock with no music.

   Really good food! We were a table of four and everyone really enjoyed everything. I had the scallop and prawn linguine and it was perfect. Our server was excellent. She was informed, personable, and attentive. Great experience all around.

   The service was mediocre at best. The food was decent, but not spectacular for those prices.

    Food is amazing, happy hour is best price in town for gourmet style appys, my husband and I go very often and meet friends there on occasion, always enjoy the food. We highly recommend Bayside for a guaranteed good meal,
