Beach Walk Café, known as the “Most Romantic Dining Experience in Destin,” is located inside the Henderson Park Inn where guests enjoy unobstructed views of the Gulf overlooking more than a mile of the world’s most beautiful and secluded beaches with spectacular sunset views.

In this idyllic private setting Beach Walk Café features an intimate atmosphere with dining available inside, with a cozy fireplace and magnificent views of the coast and outside on the verandas of the Inn overlooking the emerald waters of the Gulf. A favorite with locals and tourists alike, Beach Walk Café is known for its meticulous service, innovative cuisine and a stunning, unparalleled view.

    We enjoy dining at Beach Walk because it’s a change of pace from the majority of restaurants in the Destin area. It has a beach/sunset view, it’s not noisy and the food is first class! It’s so nice to dine where the background noise doesn’t drown out our conversation while dining. A special treat!

    Unfortunately, disappointing. Every year we pick a different fine dining restaurant in the area for our anniversary dinner. This year was our 25th anniversary and of the last 6 years in the Destin area, this was our least favorite. We let them know in our reservation that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and there was no mention of it or any effort to make it special. They were out of the wine I ordered and the wine that was recommended instead was mediocre. I ordered the Snapper and it was incredibly salty, I couldn’t finish it and it gave more a horrible stomach ache the rest of the night. My husband’s grouper was pretty good. The atmosphere was boring to be honest. Sleepy, quiet place that was borderline depressing. Our server was very nice and I do not fault her for our experience. We spent $175 for a beer, glass of wine and 2 entrees. No starter or dessert. I wish I could have my money back and redo this special dinner someplace else. Sad.

    Stellar service. Amazing food. Delicious from the moment we walked in. Great selection and did not disappoint. The food looked good and tasted even better. Great for an intimate date night. Perfect experience.

    We had Christmas Eve dinner here for the 2nd year in a row. The prix fixe menu had seafood, beef and pork options. All course portions were generous and delicious. The cafe was very busy but our wait staff did not rush us or look harried. They were attentive and warm and welcoming. We haven't experienced the cafe other than Christmas Eve but throughout our stay the other guests of the inn raved about the food. We would highly recommend.

    The view at sunset was spectacular. The service was excellent but the food was lacking. The crab cakes were ok. The lobster bisque was bitter. The grouper was overcrusted and drowning in a sauce that made it nearly inedible. At least the desserts were good. Definitely not worth the money!

    Walked into reservation and had a requested a high chair a week in advance for my hubby birthday and instead of calling us and letting us know they let us show up and turned us away
