   Dropped in on way home on a Thursday at 2230 for a beer and liked it so much we stayed until 2400. Good atmosphere and range of craft beers and lagers. I am not sure about the current craze for craft everything but the excellent staff helped us find a drinkable lager. Had a pair of quite mad DJs who played good chill and house music (and I am 64 years old) not too loud and certainly not intrusive. The DJs did not speak over pa but they were entertaining enough just watching them. Looks a bit odd from the outside but well worth a walk in and a beer.

   Really enjoyed our first visit helpful service from happy staff, excellent tasty imaginative food at the right temperature, very interesting wine list. Will certainly go again

   Tried the Sunday roast with friends. A tasty plate of food but not much of it. It's not a cheap option either so we were disappointed to leave hungry. Service and ambience very good though.

   We went for a birthday supper but found it was a special Pinot Noir wine evening - what a lovely surprise - the wine was excellent, the quantities more than generous, the commentary interesting, entertaining, and helping us engage with the wine, and the accompanying food superb and complementing the wine perfectly. The service was attentive and very pleasant.
