   Whilst the atmosphere is in the food really lacked flavour. We ordered a few starters to share and asked for side plates, they bought us 3, when there were 6 of us. The starters were ok, but the calamari was not crispy, and 1 was bought out a lot later than the others (we had to ask for it). The main courses were so disappointing. The lasagna was dry and the pizza had no taste. Dessert was the best course. One person had the special crumble and said it was lovely, and the rest of us had the gelato, which I assume they buy in. An expensive night for sub standard food and service. We won’t be back.

   Had a super birthday meal. Cannot fault the staff, very friendly without being intrusive, and the food was excellent. The only negative, it was so noisy, we almost had to shout across the table at each other! The acoustics are really not good. However, we will return in the future as it's one of the very few excellent restaurants we have near us.
