   Monday's wine and dine of two salads and two entrees and a bottle of wine for $65 remains a great value and deal! Especially since Bennett's finally listened and stopped chilling the red wines! That made no sense at all! So, now my wife enjoyed her sea bass and i enjoyed the meat loaf with a perfect glass of cab and then took the rest of the bottle home!

   Bennet’s has become the ‘go to’ for Sacramento dining. Every time we are greeted and seated promptly. We experience superior service and food. Tonight we brought wine for which there’s a reasonable corkage fee. My wife enjoyed her beef short ribs. Prime Rib a weekend feature was excellent. Choice of salad or soup came with an entree. The tortilla soup loaded with chicken could be meal in itself. Delicious…. We enjoy Bennett’s and I know you will enjoy it too.

   We had a party of six celebrating two birthdays. The food and drinks were delicious. Everything arrived at the right times (all appetizers first). The entrees all very close together. Our primary server was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the food, very friendly and personable and just made a great overall impression. Everything made for a great time.

   Waited on the hostess for 10 minutes. They were not busy. Waited for 15 more minutes and had to ask someone to bring water and take my order. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Nice presentation but flavor not anything to write home about. Had to ask for salt and pepper for my smashed potatoes and eggs benedict. Egg white was undercooked on one. No one checked on me or offered me anything the entire time I was eating. A random guy walked by and asked me if I needed anything as I sat with my napkin folded on the table and plate pushed to the side. I requested a check, paid and left. No one was mean or rude - just not very hospitable or welcoming. I guess being from the south I am used to a different kind of hospitality. Probably won’t go back. Adequate is the best rating I can give - definitely not exceptional.

   Excellent service by Mirian with great happy hour specials! The only downside was the NOISE! The placement of the dining booths sharing a common wall made conversation difficult.

   I have been here many times always love the food this time with a bad experience or the steak it was very dry tasted terrible no seasoning it was awful especially for the price

    This evening was an opportunity to get out of the house and second visit within two weeks. My wife enjoyed her ‘brick’ roasted half chicken. An impressive presentation and delicious. There might be leftovers since it was a large serving. For the first time I ordered Bennett’s hamburger with fries and it was excellent. Why the high marks? The burger arrived hot, grilled as requested with lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese. The meat was flavorful. The bun was fresh and tasty. I would order this again. We’ve never been disappointed with the many entrees we’ve had. Fine assortment of wine is available by the glass and bottle. I recommend Bennett’s and I’m sure you will enjoy it too.
