    Food and service as expected from Betty's. Only gripe is prices are a bit high. Perhaps 10% (£4) less per person would be nearer the mark, especially on a quiet Monday afternoon.

    Fantastic afternoon tea and the Rwandan tea is the best I have ever had, and the level of service from Andrea was exceptional.

    We used the upstairs Belmont Room, for our visit today. A lovely experience, reflecting a more elegant age. Staff, food, ambience cannot be faulted. Think we’ll get properly dressed up next time!

    Great experience. The food was delicious and choice of teas extensive! The pianist playing in the background is a nice touch, subtle not distracting. Only minor negative was no choice of sandwiches but you could replenish them - chose our favourites then. Don’t let that put you off, the ones on offer are very tasty!

    Really well created, beautifully tasting afternoon tea. Served in a 1930s art deco room, that feels like you’ve stepped back in time. Highly recommend!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea at bettys. The food was excellent and the staff looked after us and were really friendly. The accompanied pianist made the occasion more than special. Many thanks to all.

    Afternoon tea with a selection of sandwiches scones & cakes washed down with a few cups of Betteys tea could be be better. The friendliest staff couldn't have looked after us better.
