SHARED PASSION
For owners Mishal and Sundeep, food has always been a way to bring families, friends and communities together, a way to celebrate life and share stories.
Mishal vividly remembers fragrant aromas and laughter filling the air at garden parties as her father cooked in huge pots over a coal stove. It was here that her passion for food began, inspired by her father’s experimental and creative dishes.
For Sundeep, it’s the childhood trips back to India and memories of eating fresh dhal and fluffy rotis at roadside cafes in Punjab that he savours most. The atmosphere, the aromas and the flavours all evoke a delightful sense of coming home.
And it is his innate understanding of the link between food and celebration that helped Sundeep build a successful banqueting business in the heart of North West London.
It’s this passion, this emotional connection and joy for eating that the couple now bring to Bhageecha.
Friday and Saturday after 7pm, kids under the age of 10 aren't allowed

    Food was very nice, though not exceptional, but the service was a struggle. We had to ask twice for both water and the bill, and the whole meal took two and a half hours. For a quiet Tuesday lunch time I see no reason why they were so slow and it definitely impacted on our enjoyment.

    Overall it was nice and the atmosphere was good. Food was also nice but a bit on the pricey side but I guess you pay extra for the area. It was very busy but service was good.

    We were a party of 3 that went for dinner to Bhageecha. Starting with the positives, the booking process was easy and one of our party was not sure if they would be able to attend. The management were kind enough to note that and were accommodating and said it would not result in any charge. In the end we all attended which was good. The ambience is exuberant and high end and it does make you feel you are in a special place. The food was tasty and good and the portion size is reasonable (enough for two), could be slightly more but I guess that is the reflection of the offerings these days. The cost is reflective of the ambience and food so it seemed reasonable and ok value for money. Unfortunately the service was not up to expectation given the standard and high end style of this restaurant. We had to wait ages for the main meal and had to remind the waiting staff a couple of times which was not good, this can be improved upon for sure. We did mention it after paying the bill and the staff was apologetic but could have been more engaged. Also our first table was shaky (4 seater by the window just as you enter and on the right) and did not expect this given the calibre of the restaurant. I complained and whilst there was acknowledgement, I had to ask to be moved to another 4 seater table which thankfully they accommodated. I would have expected to be shifted straight away without having to ask. So a note for management re health and safety as well, Overall I would recommend the restaurant to be tried and a good treat for special occasions or when taking special people :-)

    Not the best food. Not served hot and it’s only warm, not even the serving dishes are warmed, they were cold. Felt that the peppers in the chilli paneer where out of date or just poor quality.
