   The salad was great - not too much salt & light dressing. Waiter was courteous. Service was fast but not rushed. A pleasant experience.

   We went here for lunch and enjoyed the food. Nothing out of this world, but solid Italian dishes from burrata salads to the Roman pizza. Certainly the food is better than currently at Bice in Naples.

   We really like Bice. The ambience is wonderful. The service is terrific and very professional. The food is usually good but can be inconsistent. I ordered cavatelli as an appetizer. The sauce was just not tasty. They do not use San Marzano tomatoes and you can tell. My wife ordered penne and I don’t know if it sat too long or what but when it came out it was dry. I ordered a steak rare and it came out medium well. The chef does not know how to cook a steak. I would have sent it back but we were with friends and I didn’t want to embarrass them.

   I wish the server would give a little more time to have a drink first ahead of dinner and allow more time to pause during dinner and enjoy the restaurant and the company.
