We had our worst experience at Biest for brunch on Saturday February 15. We didn’t even think it would be an issue. There was only 1 other couple, upon entry the music was blasting and the hostess let us know they did not have pizza available because they had sold out the night before. Not an issue because we were there for breakfast. We were seated, the table was still sticky from the night before. Our waitress came over and let us know they also could not serve all but one of the breakfast items. We decided to stay anyway, the food was ok but not their usual quality. We couldn’t hear each other because it was so loud, the waitress made a few mistakes, and we attributed it to the chaos of the day. We have been going to Biest for years and it has almost always been good, but after this visit we will probably give it a while before we try them again.

Unfortunately regardless of having an appointment they took us in about 20 minutes later, food took about 30 min and they forgot to put all the ingredients in it. The food did end up tasting good but they didn’t have any pizzas that day which was the reason I went

I’ve been to Biest many times, it is my favorite local Italian restaurant but the menu on Valentine’s Day was so limited and seemed like they simplified it and cheapened it. The majority of regular menu items were gone. The majority of pasta did not have protein and they would not let you add a protein because the kitchen was backed up. If the menu is changing for Valentine’s Day, notify customers beforehand.

Love this restaurant but today was horrible. Took 20 min to get seated with reservations. Then took 10 more minutes for us to get water then took 20 more minutes for them to come back and tell us that they were out of the entrée that we wanted. We wasted almost an hour of our time just to have to leave.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was quite disappointed with the service. It took 20 minutes just to get water to our table, and our cocktail drinks arrived after we had already finished our meal. We ended up canceling both drinks. There were no water refills throughout our meal, and it was clear the staff was very shorthanded. While the food was really good, it felt a bit overpriced given the service issues.

Wow Biest! You did an awesome job. We celebrated my wife's 50th birthday. They handled it so well. We had a little of everything ordered and everyone loved their meals. The fried calamari was really good. It had a great flavor. Almost didn't need the sauce but wow the sauce was awesome. I ordered the steak with prawns and everything was perfect. The prawns were so flavorful. My wife's branzino was awesome. The service was so nice it seemed like the team worked together and everyone did a great job.

I was disappointed by the lack of drinks advertised on their drink menu. Had a basic wine list which they should look into. The mix drinks were not good either. The Cesar salad tasted like fish and had a really bad aftertaste. The only thing I enjoyed was the calamari appetizer and the fettuccine mushroom pasta. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Came at 545pm when the restaurant was pretty empty with a party of six. The food was good but did not redeem the other issues. The server seemed annoyed that we had come in, first bad vibe. Took 10 minutes just to get a menu, no real drink menu offered. When I asked about the whiskey selection the server did not know, went to ask the bartender and came back and said “yes, we have whiskey” but could not remember which they had. $30 for two “well” whiskeys and the second glass was only a half serving compared to the first. The appetizers (2) came out 15 minutes apart. The first entree came out with the last appetizer and the final entree (ribeye) came out 20 minutes after the rest of us had gotten our food. So either we ate cold food waiting, or the last person had to eat alone. There was no mention of the wait or time between meals coming out. The ribeye was to come with broccolini, but came with asparagus instead (did not ask for). The portions were quite small for the large price tag. The food was good, but not that good. I would not come back.
