   I was here on 10/12 for a Saturday Brunch with my gals.. Upon walking in we were greeted warmly and promptly seated for our 1:30 reservation. Our server Akeela (sp?) was patient as we are talkers. She helped us decide on appetizers and clarified the menu for us. Told us what she liked and what she knew was popular. The drinks were lovely, not too sweet and not too potent. Me likey bird pepper rum punch... The food was delicious we had the shrimp and crab cakes appetizers, chicken and waffles, island french toast with scrambled eggs and shrimp and grits. The decor is lovely and not over done. The music was perfect not loud and the sounds of the old time soca was great!!! We will back to check out the dinner menu!! Great addition to the neighborhood...

   Food and drink were great. Service was solid. Music is entirely too loud. It’s not good if you feel that you have to scream to be heard. The red velvet rope is a net negative it keeps folks that are passing by from just walking in. The dark windows out front are not inviting. The windows scream nightclub vs restaurant.

   We had a wonderful dinner of crab cakes, crispy chicken, jasmine rice, fried red snapper and sweet plaintains. Erika was our waitress and she was wonderful; very attentive. Great happy hour location and dinner option before a show at Barclays Center.

   Hostess and waitress were professional and friendly. Music and decor were nice. We were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu and drinks were great. Wings were okay, but nice sized serving (6 wings). Husband loved the Rasta pasta with chicken. My Mac and cheese was delicious. The oxtail was flavorful, but really tough. Struggled to get meat off the bone. Was disappointed because the stew sauce it came in was really good. I’m used to tender oxtails and for the price that’s what I should’ve gotten.

   I had the pleasure of dining here before a concert at Barclays Center and it did not disappoint. The hostess Avril greeted me with a smile and seated me at my table and checked on me to make sure I was good. She was so pleasan! My server Erica came not even a minute later and warmly greeted me. I ordered the Passionfruit Patron Wings, the Mac n Cheese and Vegetables, along with a Cosmopolitan. It was happy hour so everything was discounted. The food was tasty and the bartender did an excellent job on the drinks! The atmosphere was a vibe and the interior was modern and nice. I will definitely be back when I’m in Brooklyn.

   When I tell you, Bird Pepper did NOT disappoint!!! From ambiance to food to music!!! EVERYTHING was on point. Let's rave about the seafood roti!!! If you're looking for a unique roti to please your palate, this is where it's at!!!. The DJ was also lively and catered to the crown of different ages. I will be back!!!

   It was difficult to have a have a conversation as the music was too to loud and as a result the other guests had to speak loudly also laugh!!

   Nice ambiance music a bit loud have to literally shout to be heard Good food but brunch menu seemed to offer a larger selection
