I’ve eaten at Bistro Aracosia many times since it opened, and love bringing friends for their first experience with Afghan-influenced food and tastes. I keep coming even after moving to Takoma Park, and am always glad to return!

D us🎁We were 4 people celebrating 2 birthdays. Restaurant staff made several suggestions that were not in menu to accommodate our requests. We stayed for almost 3 hours and staff never rushed us. I almost felt like we were guests in their home.

We love this restaurant. Cozy and great food and service. Big portions, lovingly prepared. Lamb was delicious as was the beef. The dumplings should not be missed. The servers are so friendly and make you feel at home. The wine list is reasonably priced.

This is a beautiful small restaurant with delicious food. There is a large menu with items to please everyone. We had lamb shanks three different ways and each was divine. The lamb literally fell off the bone! So good!
