   Excellent ambiance, service, and food. We were there on a Sunday evening. The impeccable service, wonderfully prepared food, and unhurried atmosphere made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening out. Music was just loud enough that we had to lean in slightly to hear each other (not a complaint!)

   The ambiance was nice yet the food was not to par with the ambiance . The food was blend and under flavored . We would return if the food was improved . The ambiance and live piano was very pleasing .

   Food and service were lovely. We shared the market salad, which is easily enough for two, then had the Mt. Lassen trout and the American Wagyu New York Strip. Both were great. The trout is in a particularly flavorful presentation, with pea tendrils and savory pureed potatoes. The steak is large, and comes sliced. We added aside of pomme frites just for fun. Plenty of food at reasonable prices. The cocktails we started with were well-prepared. Good selection of wines by the glass. The sound level is high -- lots of people having a great time, and being vocal about it. We were seated right in front of the band, a jazz singer and pianist. The musicians were excellent but very hard to hear over the exuberant crowd noise. I would love to see what the sound is like if you're seated on the upper level, or in one of the very comfortable looking corner booths. Overall this is a really fun place with a unique feel. Highly recommended. Truly outstanding service -- the staff knows its stuff.

    The menu was fun and the foood was a plus with delicious deviled eggs and crab rolls. The trout was exceptional in the state.tartar was fabulous It was a much too loud for me I will try the upstairs next time cause the food is worth it
