   Nice looking place food was ok, server was very nice (Summer) but we had to wait on one side and an espresso martini that never came( it wasn’t on the bill) wanted it to be better.

   Dinner with friends. Food and cocktails - very good. Like the environment but it is loud if you are like me and have a hard time hearing with lots of ambient noise. Service is bit slow - second time that I have experienced such slowness.

   The meal was outstanding, the service was excellent and the ambience was wonderful i will be back again and Black & Blue is an outstanding addition to the MetroWest Restaurant Scene. The availability of fresh Gulf Coast Fish (red snapper and black grouper) is a great feature for those needing a taste of Florida in the NE Winter Days !

   Fist time to the relatively new restaurant. Since it was early evening being able to view the entire space was easy. The layout and interior design was very impressive. Exquisite color combinations and textures were used. High ceilings and width of the dining and bar area made for a very spacious feeling. The host station personnel greeted us with a warm welcome and answered any questions we had. The entire staff worked as a smooth running team. Any questions about the menu were answered thoroughly and some good suggestions were made. One of had beef and the other, seafood and we shared a side. The complimentary rolls and butter were excellent as was our wine choice. There were plenty of wine by the glass choices which is always appreciated . The room did get somewhat loud as it became busier, but the majority of loudness was from one larger party, but that seems to be true of most places. It was our first visit and we will be back to try other tempting items on the menu. Do try Black & Blue Steak and Crab in Wellesley, MA.

   I took my friend to celebrate her birthday and we really enjoyed our meal. The service was fantastic and all the food was high quality ingredients and delicious! My friend has a food allergy and the kitchen was able to cook for her and the waitperson was knowledgeable. They brought us a beautiful chocolate cake with ice cream to celebrate my friend's birthday. We really enjoyed this new restaurant and highly recommend!

   Fantastic new addition to Wellesley dining! Cauliflower Au Gratin and Pasta with mushrooms and truffle delicious. A perfect Vesper Martini. Attentive staff. Love the space rehabbed from a CVS.. the barrel vault ceiling gives it a modern Italian vibe. Large upbeat bar scene makes you want to come back and just hang out. Best of all.. plenty of space between tables and up tempo music so you cannot have a neighboring table eaves dropping. My one pet peeve is businesses that cram tables too close together and a party of two has no privacy. Not the case here. Thankfully they have thought of everything at Black and Blue.

   Three of the four members of our party were disappointed with our entrees: dry bone-in short rib ( how is that even possible?), tough steaks that were not cooked to desired temperature (medium instead of medium rare), cold stick french fries. The servers were amicable and attentive. We expected better quality. We would have been disappointed had this been a moderate/ family fare restaurant. It was certainly a disappointing expereeince in a restaurant that presents as "high end".

    Our first visit to B & B was just great. The food was fabulous, our specialty drinks were yummy but best of all was the staff. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and timely with her visits to our table and both the front and back of house manger's stopped by our table to insure we were happy. They are off to a great start!
