About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Great for creative cocktails
  • Good for special occasions
Black Lamb is a neighborhood restaurant and raw bar by Chef Colin Lynch at the corner of Tremont & Union Park in the heart of the South End.

Sample a daily-changing selection of oysters, ceviche, and crab from the raw bar. Enjoy a satisfying salad or dig into a thick and juicy classic burger with house-made fries.

The beverage program focuses on classic cocktails inspired by the culinary traditions invoked by our chefs and a curated list of wines from producers working with an eye for treating their vineyards with the same respect our growers treat their farms.

This was out first time at Black Lamb and we went for the TWO CHEFS special. The food was brilliant, and we interacting with many different staff people, all of whom were cheery and helpful. This is a 5 minute walk from the South End Theaters and worth the foot steps.

Our first time at Black Lamb. It was a beautiful night on their side patio. It lives up to its reviews. Comfortable ambience. Very tasty fare - creative without trying too hard. Will add it to our “go to” list of neighborhood restos.

Lamb burgers were good! Also highly recommend the truffle aioli for the fries. Patio seating out front was nice at lunch on a sunny day. My son had the steak and it was great too. Would eat here again.

The lamb burger was overdone and the duck frites had very little duck and too many fries. The burger was great but the bun got very soggy so I couldn't eat it like a burger. The drinks were tasty and the service was great. Overall a bit pricey for the quality of food.
