   Black Rock Steakhouse is a surprisingly good restaurant in Springfield. We’ve been there a few times recently and have had consistently great steak and seafood meals. Good beer selection as well. Service is excellent and prices are reasonable.

   Appetizers were great. Steak undercooked but ok. Also had a stuffed halibut. The shrimp in stuffing was not cooked. Took home a lot of leftovers and will cook further. Brooke our server was great!!!

   Going out to dinner on a holiday like Valentine’s Day is difficult. Usually waitstaff is overworked and exhausted. Black Rock is typically busy so I figured it would be slammed. It was, and all the same everyone was having a great time. Our waitress was very nice and talked to us throughout the night. The food was delicious as always. They were very accommodating and communicative.

    The entrees are excellent as well as portions. If you can overcome the noise and somewhat chaotic atmosphere it's worth giving this a go
