Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Very disapointed by the quality of the fillet steak, very small v the rest of the table and over cooked. I was going to bring friends here from Suffolk, but now worried about consistency of food... this was our 3rd visit and previously been fine.. not sure if will go back ..

Great service, lively fun place to be, food was tasty and hearty but very noisy and difficult to hear each other …doesn’t need to be a library but better acoustics might make it a more enjoyable lunch venue…
