Sadly it is closing on Saturday. It is a loss to Duane Street, Tribeca and fans of Austrian comfort food.

Food was really good! The pretzels were freshly baked and the meal options were all delicious. We especially enjoyed the Salzburger Knockel! This desert is typically found only in Salburg, Austria and it was delicious!!

Love everything about blaue gans except for the music. They always play contemporary pop and it just really doesn’t work with the ambience/vibe.

I had a business meeting and I needed a very quiet place so we could talk. Blaue Gans was perfect. The place was nearly empty. The food was good and the waiter attentive. Perfect for what I needed. Would clearly go back.

The food was fine and well-plated, the space and ambiance is nice, and the restaurant tends to not get too crowded (at least at lunchtime). But the real star of the show was our waiter! He was incredibly nice and helpful, and deserves 10 stars for being so hospitable to our group!
