   I don’t usually have overall bad experiences in restaurants, but it seems like the staff at Bloom worked really hard to give bad service. I’ve been here once before many years ago and vowed not to go back but wife convinced me to give it another chance. RSVP for 8:45. They close at 10p, but because they couldn’t get their act together, we finally left at 11p. Now, the restaurant was basically empty at close and they couldn’t not get an appetizer prepared in under 45 min. We didn’t order dinner because we noticed how long it took to get one drink - 20 minutes after the cheese board was served. We ordered all appetizers once the waiter decided to take our order. Mind you- no one in his section before he decided to check on our drinks and 3 people behind the bar clowning. We place 4 app orders because no way will they have dinner ready - called it. Last appetizer came at 10:30pm. Waiter asked if we got our second round of drinks-nope. Waiter asked if we got our other app-nope. Like why ask us? Go to the bar and kitchen and ask them. 2 hours for apps and a couple drinks. A can of beer is not hard to serve! We ordered dessert-like they can’t screw it up, can they? They only brought us one-we ordered two. He has messed up every order, bar, kitchen even bus boys kept trying to take our plates because it was late but they still had food on them. Even the waiter took our plates and we said we have another app we still didn’t get. The biggest insult of the night-they add a 20% tip to the bill ?!? Forget that, never going there again.

   My husband and I went here for a date night, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed every dish we tried. I especially loved the yuca gnocchi. Despite the cuisine being elevated, the vibe was accepting and laidback. Our server was friendly and polite. Our questions were answered, and the recommendations proved correct. The small plates were actually a little bigger than I was expecting. The prices were definitely reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received. I will absolutely go back. It was lovely to have such a fantastic dining experience.

   We got the chef's counter experience. We were seated at a counter on high chairs looking into the kitchen as they were preparing the food for the restaurant. They worked as a well oiled machine. Tue Chef/Owner was there working at the pass finishing dishes. He helped to serve us and explain the dishes. The food was excellent. There were different textural elements along with complimentary and contrasting flavors. Everything was seasoned to perfection. We got the optional wine paring with it, and unfortunately, the waitress that was serving our drinks was a little slow at one point and we didn't get the wine that was intended to go with a dish until after that course. Fortunately, it was a reisling so sipping on it between courses was enjoyable. Overall it was a stellar experience that I would definitely recommend amd I will definitely be going back to Bloom.

   Phenomenal vegan friendly dining experience, one of the best I’ve had in Chicago. Service was friendly and casual, but hyper-attentive. For the price, I don’t think you can beat the tasting menu.

   Great vibe! The food was amazing that Quinoa salad and creme brule was everything.

   This is one of mine and my husband’s favorite places to eat. We bring everyone who comes to town to visit and it’s literally changed people’s mi nds about what vegan food can be. We love Bloom

   My 15 yo daughter is a vegetarian and also requires a gluten free diet. Finding suitable restaurants can be difficult. It was a treat to find Bloom, where gluten-free and vegetarian is a staple and not just an afterthought. In addition, the food is truly remarkable. Beautifully presented and the flavors are incredible. Such a nice find. It really made for a wonderful experience for my daughter and me.

   We had a great experience with our Argentinian server who made our evening the event of the week. The food recommendations were fantastic with so many flavors and colors. Thank you making our evening special

    I enjoyed having the four course meal. But they came so quickly. We received the first three and the appetizer within 14 minutes. It would’ve been more enjoyable to have it spread out.  I also felt that the restaurant week advertisement was misleading in terms of the courses and gratuity not being stated included. The 20% was fine as I usually do that and more, but it should state the same on the advertisement of what is being shown in the restaurant. The beet tart was extremely hard to cut and eat, although tasty. Didn’t care for the onion tart. The fried oysters were amazing.
