The best restaurant around Georgetown. The staff are true masters in their craft. They are so friendly, took amazing care for us, and served us with some of the best food and drinks we ever had. 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone.

Once again the service and food were amazing. Consistently great for the past several decades. If you have never treated yourself to the roasted whole duck, reconsider your life choices. Just beware it needs to be ordered about a week in advance!

We celebrated a birthday with lunch on the patio. We started with the Brussels sprouts which were astoundingly delicious. Then we had the crabcakes which are the best in town even in the off season. The weather was spectacular. The service was attentive but not rushed. We agreed it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back.

We had the duck and the chicken dinners. Both were awesome! Would recommend sharing the wilted salad.. there was plenty for two.. instead of ordering sides. Also, don't skip dessert... the apple pie for two was amazing!! The wait staff at Blue Duck Tavern are beautifully courteous.

Hostess was unfriendly. Very much so. System was down so no automation, handwritten bill, slow service. Halibut had little flavor. Crab cake was $28 for maybe three oz of crab flakes. Our third time here. And last. Place is way overpriced and overrated.

Food was amazing. Came here for dinner and had the charred gem salad and bone marrow as starters. Salad was fresh and bone marrow was delicious! For entrees we shared the duck breast, chicken and halibut. Duck was delicious although slightly under for my personal preference. Chicken and halibut were just okay - tasted good but nothing spectacular. We were seated in a glass box with one open side which was an interesting set up but it was a quiet space and we were to enjoy each other’s company and didn’t have to fight to hear each other. Overall great experience.

Booked a birthday brunch here and had a simply great experience! Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was excellent- fresh, well thought out flavours and just tasty! We had the brunch burger (which like its lunch/dinner-time sibling was excellent) and the steak and eggs special of the day- all great! The brunch cocktails were also really fun! Brunch was SO good, we had to take some home and so we ordered the apple pie to-go and that on its own is another food review! I highly recommend this lovely spot!
