   This was our first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed it and will return. We sat on the patio. It was lovely. We had the smoked fish dip appetizer, which was delicious and we had the special market fish, which was triple tail, and it was absolutely amazing.

   Great ambiance, food is delicious and staff were very pleasant. I love the decor and the specials, always a fresh fish option. My only complaint is the 12% service fee added to every check. Seems very high and unfair. I’m not really sure how it works but it seems like a way to not raise menu prices but pass on the higher costs to customers.

   We have eaten at Blue Gill for at least 10 years, always enjoying it. We made a reservation with my adult son and his wife for the Saturday night of Mother's Day weekend. We were seated promptly. My daughter in law ordered shrimp and grits. My son and I ordered lobster po boys. My wife ordered salmon. When our meals arrived, our daughter in law's dinner was not there. The server said it would arrive promptly. The rest of us finished our meals before hers arrived. There was no apology, acknowledgement or discount offered. Plus, it was not the quality of shrimp and grits we have received at Blue Gill in the past. My son, who was treating us, did not want to make a fuss, and paid the bill. But I was disappointed in the whole experience. I'm not sure I will return.

   My wife and I had dinner with some friends we haven't seen in a while. The noise level was at a good so we could have a conversation without yelling. I had the grouper which was one of the specials and it was spectacular. The atmosphere was great and is a high end experience with a casual dress code. It is expensive but the food was delicious. The waiter was very nice and attentive without being over the top. I may have to save a few nickels to go back but will definitely go back.

   Had a great experience. Two of our party are celiac. The seafood was delicious. The waitress was not completely sure of all gluten free items on the menu, but did inquire with the chef. Overall a great experience!

   We had a great time and Hannah took very good care of us. Everyone there is wonderful. Ask Lizzy for your favorite mocktail and she will magically make it appear.

   Food is superior, I don’t mind the price for the quality. Service is fantastic, staff exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Only downside side in my opinion is the acoustics which make conversations difficult but not enough to prevent me from returning.

    Menu is smaller…but oh so good. For our main courses we had the Blue Gill Burger = spectacular and the Salmon = no words as to how perfectly cooked and paired with the risotto. Caesar salad fresh & chilled and the dressing was outstanding.
