   First time there, my fiend and myself both enjoyed our meals very much, both taste and presentation. Our server was very, attentive and personable. Would definitely return and highly recommend

   The food was great. Loud music made it hard to have a conversation There were too many flys despite the staffs attempt to keep them away. It was a cold day so we were unsure why they could not be eliminated!

   The cesear salad is excellent! Our service wasn’t great. The waiter told us he’d bring us water when he had time… was rushed, gave things to the wrong people. I wasn’t impressed by the service. But the food is good.

   Entrees were the main issue; two were excellent but the smoked beef pasta special was not good enough for my friend to ever order again and my Cajun Shrimp Pasta was destroyed by too much salt. I've been to New Orleans many times and salt is not the key flavor in Cajun cooking. There was also something way too crunchy in there that resembled shrimp shell but might have been nuts. The rock cod fish of the day and pork chop dishes our wives had were deemed very good which was a relief. Brussels sprouts appetizer and fries we ordered as an appetizer were also very good. No beer on tap, only cans was another oddity. Good service, decent value, creepy hallway to get to restrooms which at least clean once you got there. Won't be in a hurry to return. Avoid the pasta dishes.

   Chef Matt puts out amazing dishes. Beautifully plated, perfectly seasoned, and generous portions. The NY steak was cooked to perfection with a wood-fired smokey taste and topped with the best peppercorn sauce. Since it was Black Cod Restaurant Week, we had to try the 3-course meal: shrimp louie salad (a full portion!), black cod (melted in the mouth), and a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich (perfect finish). We loved everything - and enjoyed meeting Chef Matt so we could personally rave about the food. Although we are inly visiting Sonoma for the week, we plan to head back to Blue Ridge for dinner again this week before we leave!
