We had a wonderful Valentine’s Dinner! The chef/team and service are superior! Best dinner ever in this area. The Bluestone Signature Salad with candied bacon was amazing. The presentation and delicious taste of the Bang Bang Shrimp was really special! The dinners were well plated and simply delicious with the seafood cooked to perfection, not over or undercooked. And the service was outstanding. Prompt. Professional. Food delivered in a perfect cadence, not too fast or slow. Good wine list too. Cannot understand how we missed this restaurant over the past 18 years! Will come back for sure!!

The total experience was good, service was a little slow, but probably to be expected during a Valentines dinner. The portion of the lamb chops was incredibly small and not great value for money. The rest of the meal was good, although the temperature of the steak was overdone.

Bluestone is a beautiful restaurant with professional, attentive staff, however their food was inconsistent. The ahi tuna appetizer was tough and chewy and the flounder was mushy, but the Chilean sea bass was cooked perfectly as was the rice.

We joined at Bluestone on Valentine’s Day. One of the reasons we went there is that they are able to maintain a consistent level of service even on busy nights. Plus, they have an extensive menu. Our serve server was a delightful lady. I believe she said her name was Valentine or Valentina. She was absolutely spot on— very attentive and pleasant. We had a very enjoyable dinner and the food was good. My husband had a steak and it was cooked perfectly. Kudos to the Bluestone team.

All of the people in our party enjoyed their meals. The shrimp and lobster appetizer was excellent. The cream of crab had a good flavor, with complaint of very little crabmeat in it. All of our main courses were cooked on point and had great flavor. They were filet and crab cake, rockfish, ocean and gulf. The server was very pleasant and stayed on top of our drinks and meal. The meals were a little pricey, but didn’t mind it since it was very good. We will definitely be returning, as this was our first time there.

Our Valentine’s dinner was excellent, Scallops with risotto, and Flounder fillet with fried rice. Served by our server, Valentina, so sweet and attentive to our needs. Great dinner, great server and great dining experience.

Great things stay great - as do great restaurants. Last year we visited Bluestone on V-Day and guess what? We did again this year! Many comments I made last year in my Bluestone review remain equally valid: 1. Grace under pressure - Restaurants can display managerial weaknesses on Valentine's Day. Even good and great restaurants, which can get crushed by numbers of holiday celebrants. V-Day may be one of the busiest nights of the year for upscale restaurants. However, the best of the best shine through under the pressure. So was the case with Bluestone on V-Day 2025. Management acumen made the restaurant not seem overly crowded or too bustling but clearly every seat was filled. Bluestone manages its reservations and wait-list with aplomb. 2. Food was wonderful per its lofty standards - We expect greatness at Bluestone and it delivered. Again. The Crisfield Stew never disappoints. Big hunks of fresh seafood in a very tasty broth - like bouillabaisse crossed with Maryland Crab Soup...." I had the highly excellent crabcake-stuffed-flounder, served on a bed of very tasty seasoned rice - sort of a risotto. We devoured the super-hot, fresh rolls while enjoying a couple of perfect cocktails featuring blackberries. Our newish waitress Lauren was rock solid (Kelsey last year probably cannot be topped). All told we dropped $143 but Bluestone is worth every penny. . So what's stopping you? Go to Bluestone.

My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day with a lunch at Bluestone and it was an awesome experience. We started with a non menu item; Maryland half and half ( half cream of crab and half Maryland crab soup). Bluestone easily accommodated this requested and it was fabulous. The spiciness of regular crab soup with a little extra thickness. We then had the Little Jumbos appetizers. They were delicious. Five golf ball size crab cakes served with a Mustard Aioli. For the main meal my husband had the Mahi Mahi Sandwich. I had a bite and it was very tasty. The only negative is it was a bit messy, so be prepared. I had the Southwest Salmon Salad. It was delicious . The blackened Salmon was cooked to perfection and the chipotle lime dressing was a perfect accompaniment Our server, Lauren was amazing! She was attentive without hovering. She was engaging and sweet. The only negative was the patio room felt a bit cold and I was happy to have brought a scarf. Overall, a wonderful experience and we will definitely go back.
