A restaurant smuggled from Mexico to Melbourne. Find Little Bourke Street’s late night mezcal bar and taqueria hidden underground in the China Town precinct, and open 7 days a week until late, including lunch Thursday - Sunday. Try a Tequila or Mezcal cocktail, or speak to our team about sipping some exciting Agave spirits instead. The $59 Feed Me banquet offers great value and a huge mix of traditional Mexican street food, plus some dishes with a twist. We also offer a $75 Bottomless Brunch on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays, with unlimited cocktails and 5 dishes; or a Pre-Theatre deal available every night of the week. We are located on the corner of Little Bourke and Crossley Street, Melbourne, with a moody bar and dining area perfect for both a quiet drink, or a larger celebration.

Fantastic gluten free food, and the staff were amazingly helpful and patient. With enough notice (two days), Bodega Underground was able to accommodate pretty significant dietary restrictions - including no onion or garlic - crafting separate options from the menu. Would 100% recommend for anyone struggling with a gluten-free/Fodmap diet who misses amazing Mexican food. No notes.

Friendly staff, cool venue with a good atmosphere. The tacos were delicious but the fish ones were a little disappointing - less batter clumps and more fish would have been preferable.

Authentic Mexican cuisine, intimate basement setting, attentive but non-intrusive staff, with a group menu perfect for sharing. Full tummies all round at the end of our dining experience. Great night out & value for money

Literally around the corner from both the Comedy theatre and Her Majesty's so very convenient for either a post show early dinner or before show early dinner. Quick Mexican , tacos, nachos, burritos etc. Food is reasonable- stand out for me and my family was the sticky chicken wings- they were sweet, tangy and sticky- simply awesome!

Cocktails were amazing. Food was TERRIBLE. We were forced to book set menu which to be honest from course 3 we did not even attempt. We begun to question the food quality from first course as the tacos served to be out of a bag. (Ie Doritos). The staff were good but it was embarrassing for all as food kept coming out and each course looked and tasted less appetising than the last. We took the churros away and they were great.

Amazing experience. The food was superb and full of flavour. A friend and I shared a few small meals, felt extremely full and the cost was very affordable! I'd highly recommend Bodega and can't wait to go back there
