A restaurant smuggled from Mexico to Melbourne. Find Little Bourke Street’s late night mezcal bar and taqueria hidden underground in the China Town precinct, and open 7 days a week until late, including lunch Thursday - Sunday. Try a Tequila or Mezcal cocktail, or speak to our team about sipping some exciting Agave spirits instead. The $59 Feed Me banquet offers great value and a huge mix of traditional Mexican street food, plus some dishes with a twist. We also offer a $75 Bottomless Brunch on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays, with unlimited cocktails and 5 dishes; or a Pre-Theatre deal available every night of the week. We are located on the corner of Little Bourke and Crossley Street, Melbourne, with a moody bar and dining area perfect for both a quiet drink, or a larger celebration.

Every Fri, Sat, and Sun we host Bottomless Mexi-Brunch sittings between 11am & 5pm, which consist of 5 dishes & 90mins of bottomless cocktails, beer & wine. WARNING: Arriving late will result in a shorter seating time CANCELLATION POLICY: Bottomless Mexi-Brunch is non-refundable, however modifications to your booking may be made up until 48 hours prior to your booking time.

One of your waiters is absolutely awesome. I dropped my horchata twice in 2 minutes (my bad 😬), and he was immediately on the job, and deflecting my apologies. Bodega Underground makes for a great first date 🙂

Drove over from Adelaide for a concert, but always make sure to make time for Bodega Underground! We had the feed me menu (which is completely gluten free) and every dish was better than the last. Drinks, service and vibes are always immaculate!

Ambience is vibey, and the service is excellent. Staff were always checking if we needed a top up for drinks, and they came out super fast! Great food and drink options - enough variety to keep you excited! Very accommodating for dietaries as well.

Food and drinks were great as always. Staff were attentive with their service. The space was comfortable for everyone and we enjoyed the music too. Would definitely come back with a big party.

I had a disappointing experience at Bodega underground. The feed me menu was below average, not worth the price at all. To make matters worse, our waitress was incredibly rude. She seemed like she wanted to rush us out from the moment we sat down, constantly clearing our plates and rolling her eyes. It made us feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.

Overall experience was great, food was a bit more spicy than we like. Drinks were served very quickly. Good variety of drinks. Great atmosphere and service was excellent.
