A delicious and delightful departure from the same ‘ol, same ‘ol. Unique dishes, surprising combinations and traditional French favs for those who prefer that. We ordered ordered a collection of Indian-inspired small plates and loved everything. Creative drinks menu and lovely, cozy, quiet (but not dead) atmosphere. We will go back!

I hosted the party of seven. Chef Thomas George prepared an excellent six course tasting menu that was outstanding. We were able to taste a wide variety of favorable items.

Lovely restaurant tucked away on the edge of Union Square. Friendly and attentive staff, delicious food and cocktails. Pricy but that’s the norm for Union Square.

Drinks were bad. Service was Ok. Waiters were very good but over worked. Need to add more people to service the customers. Food was good. The order was all mixed up. Not worth the price though.

Bombay Brasserie’s amalgam of French and Indian food is top notch . Superlative Lobster Thermidor , light and airy like you have never tasted before is sheer culinary genius. The Chicken Keema , Yellow dal , black dal and rice pilaf are all outstanding. A great wine list , superb service and delectable desserts ( the creme brulee and the gulab Jamon ) converge to create a true five star gustatory experience in a beautiful room .

The food is decent, service is poor and more akin to being at a cafe vs. an expensive fine dining restaurant. Servers didn’t come and check on empty drinks, we had to flag someone down to clear our plates and bring dessert menus, and then once again to bring our check. Also, the pacing was very off, after we got our appetizers it took almost 30 mins for the mains. No one came by to say why there was a delay or provide a refresh in drinks. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food was too oily and pretty average food for tajs standards. There are only 3 people for the entire restaurant to take orders and are overwhelmed. Feel sad for them.Food is pretty ordinary , unhealthy and overpriced. Have had better food.
