   Delicious dining in a greenhouse-like setting. Saganaki is a must; and all the fresh fish choices are amazing. Go!

   NYE: I've been to Boston Fish Market many times and have to say this is the 1st time I've had a less than great experience. We were on time for our 515p reservation but had to wait about 15+ minutes for a table in the newer dining area vs sitting in the communal storefront area. The wait was not an issue but staff & mgr. seemed to want to push us off to that communal area to start . Once seated, we had the crab cakes and oysters as starters .. both came out promptly and were excellent. Then for dinner we ordered the 14oz lobster tail and the grilled calamari. That seemed to take a bit longer than expected. Wait staff was efficient but seems the kitchen was busy with many to-go orders along with dine-in. When the lobster came I could see it was 'over done' a simple touch confirmed it was dry and rubbery. I did cut it open towards the center to see if any of it was edible and found it was tasteless as well. I get it, the kitchen can't get it right 100% of the time and this time it was my meal but it was VERY disappointing. When I called the waiter over, he had to get the mgr. who then had to 'check' with the kitchen...none if which would magically undo the tragedy on my plate. All this took a good deal of time and finally was asked if they could make another. I declined the lobster but requested the crab leg instead knowing I'd have a better chance for actually dining at the same time as my husband. That took a significant amount of time but when I did get my meal it was very good. Although my husband was completely finished with his meal. The final disappointment was that when the bill was delivered I could tell the waiter was embarrassed to show me the extra $10 was applied to cover the order change which we paid of course and still left a generous tip as it was not the fault of the wait staff. I hope restaurant management does review the copy so that they may understand how to better manage a situation like this when it happens.

   This was our first time at the Des Plaines location. It is more casual and lively than the one in Wheeling, but the food and service were excellent. We also frequent the Fish Market where the fish is always fresh and ready to take home to prepare. Kudos all around!

   Server was not attentive. Too pricey, even for the fish and good quality. Someone needs to evaluate the price of the food over the quantity and find the right balance.

   Wonderful food. Great selection. Outstanding service. It was noisy so don’t expect a quiet candlelight dinner. And expect to pay. But you get what you pay for.

   Some of the freshest and tastiest seafood you can get anywhere at a very good value for the quality. This location isn’t as organized as their Wheeling location. The server was overwhelmed with tables and it took him 50 minutes to get our bar drinks to the table and then take our food order. We were comped one meal and a dessert for our inconvenience so I’ll give them one more try.
