   Disappointed. We were looking forward to dining here after a previous positive experience when restaurant was located in Warrnambool. We drove 30km for a Friday night dinner. Appetiser: bruschetta was dry (lacking olive oil and garlic) even though tomatoes and herbs were fresh and flavoursome. Price steep at $21 for 4 slices. Gnocchi - heavy texture and prawn cream sauce mediocre. Spaghetti puttanesca - sauce poorly balanced with too much vinegar from caper and olives, tomato sauce devoid of fresh ingredients (more like commercial tomato supreme) and no sign of anchovies as stated on menu. Tiramisu was acceptable and it's hard to muck up affogato. Desserts were the only passable course. With a glass of wine and quarter carafe of house wine - $140 for two.

   This is one of the best Italian Restaurants I have been to. The tables, ambience, food an service were all exceptional. We had to wait for our table to be available but it was well worth the wait. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Port Fairy and looking for a great dining experience.

   Food was delicious, service was excellent, corkage was $5 they do have a good range of wines as well but we took our own. Will definitely be back next time in Port Fairy.

   Had a well cooked and delicious meal. Service was top notch! The girls so lovely and friendly. Great prices! When in Port Fairy again will definitely eat there again!

   Very expensive for what you get. Food quality markedly reduced since I last ate here a few years ago My mother in law ordered risotto - it was bland and claggy had been overcooked My oldest ordered the carbonara gnocchi - over salted and the gnocchi was over cooked. My youngest ordered the chicken and cauliflower rice dish, with only 3 small pieces of chicken and mostly cauliflower. My meal was only ok - pesto pasta. Needless to say we won't be eating here again.

   Very pleasant staff, authentic Italian food. Good value but a rather limited wine list. Including some reds from regions such as The Pyrenees, Victoria or McLaren Vale SA would add variety to the lighter red selection.

    Best Italian food we have had for a long time, excellent service and great value. Highly recommend whenever you are in Port Fairy.
