   Interesting spot tucked away in an industrial park area of San Diego. Decor is interesting counters an otherwise stark space. Love the cork wall on one side. Gorgeous light fixtures. Sufficient space between tables so no sense of being crowded. Interesting menu. Husband had the octopus which was divine! Salad was huge and tasty. Entrees were less exciting. My saltimbocca was huge and tasty. I’d have rather had this as a tapas sized plate of food. Partner had the lamb ragú pasta and wasn’t terribly impressed. If we lived in the neighborhood we’d become regulars. I could see where this spot with its large and inviting bar area would be a great gathering spot for locals and those who work in the surrounding office buildings.

   What a great place. I wish I could give them 10 stars. The food and ambiance were amazing and the staff were great too. We will definitely be back soon.

   Food: excellant. Service: earnest and friendly but somewhat undertrained or understaffed. Ambience: industrial Chic. Cautionary note: Don't order the Duck unless you have the patience of Job. We ADORED their Duck dish but it takes a LONG time to prepare and plate. We knew that and called in advance to order it, giving them an extra 45 minute lead time so the Duck would be ready when the other entrees were ready. But it didn't work: the two of us splitting the duck had a lengthy wait for it to appear, while the other two members in the party were served (and had completely finished) their entrees while we STILL waited for the Duck. It was finally served about 90 minutes after we arrived, so we were a bit disappointed in the timing of the entrees.

   We celebrated my adult son's birthday here with Sunday brunch in December. The food was amazing, and the service was just right--attentive, but not hovering. I gave a 2/4 on noise level because the restaurant was fairly quiet and not filled to capacity for this holiday weekend brunch, but I imagine that it would be much more festive on a regular weekend evening. We will definitely return to sample their dinner menu.

   Beautiful restaurant. Chad was our server and took very good care of us. We had a variety of food. Aguachile, smoked devils eggs, wings, fries, margharita pizza, octopus, shrimp sandwich, and ceaser salad. Everything was delicious and plated immaculately.

   A bit disappointed to be honest. Had high expectations based on reviews, but the service was lackluster despite not being busy (waited 10 plus minutes just to get water and greeted by our server), and the food was just ok. However, the presentation of food was top tier, and the ambiance was nice. The deviled eggs were ok. Just ok. I wouldn’t order again. I had the pita & lox, and while the pita bread was probably the best I’ve ever had, the lox itself wasn’t as fresh as I would like, wasn’t chilled enough, and the flavors were a bit bland. My best friend disliked her scrambled eggs, but loved the breakfast potatoes. Sadly, not sure I see myself returning.

   Dining room has a nice vibe. Staff were young and energetic, however, service was not very attentive (water and wine glasses were not filled) and long wait to open our wine and take our order (granted it is the holiday season). Food was average and uneventful. We love trying all restaurants and Boujiemana got good reviews so we booked a family dinner here. This may come off the wrong way but we felt the young staff had personality but lacked genuine dining knowledge; basics were barely covered but you would expect above average service given the beautiful venue. It's unlikely we'll be back.

    This is a hidden gem. The food, ambience, service were all fantastic. We sat on the patio but the interior is beautiful as well. Definitely going back soon.
