    The service was awful. We didn’t get served as such, we had to ask to order for everything .. food, drinks, cutlery, etc. our mains were served when starters were half cleared. Drinks order forgotten twice, no cutlery, dirty water jug. Not the Christmas lunch we hoped for.

    Service was really terrible, we weren't asked if we wanted more drinks/ anything. Left to our own devices. Hunted someone down for the bill. Given the wrong bill 3 times!! Waited 45 minutes total for the bill issue to be sorted - tried to mention to manager /staff that we aren't happy and been waiting very long to be simply told that 'it's coming'. Whilst there saw 2 other tables complaining and unhappy with service.

    Booked a table for a group of 7 of us and it is a stunningly bling restaurant and wowed everyone when we arrived! We arrived at 5.45pm and they didn't take our drinks order until 6.30pm. And then we still had to wait and the first drinks came with the starters around 20 minutes later together with the wine. It would have been nice to have our G&Ts to keep us lubricated while we were waiting for the food. The waiting was the biggest let down. After that it was all good and the food was fantastic and our server was wonderfully friendly and attentive and kept the wine glasses topped up. A very good night and a nice start to Christmas (apart from the waiting!)

    The food was delicious although small portions and Manuela (our waiter) was lovely. It was a nice surprise to see Santa pop in to take photos with everyone. I know it’s Christmas and busy but it did feel abit rushed. I was most disappointed with the front of house service. I arrived at 10.35am, early for my 11am booking hoping to grab a coffee before my table was ready. The front of house was rude and dismissive. She wouldn’t allow me to grab a drink at the bar… instead stated “This is not a serving station.” I understand it is busy, but there must have been at least 6 empty chairs at the bar area which remained empty as I waited for my table. This initial encounter tainted the experience. It gives a really bad impression and not in line with everyone else working so hard to make it an enjoyable experience.
