The food and cocktails were great and the place has an amazing ambience. I’ve been there before but it was the first time for my friend and he loved it.

Beautiful place with excellent staff. Sadly the food wasn’t as good as I expected. My chicken Milanese was over cooked, hard and slightly burnt. I felt the smoked salmon, albeit good, thin and not too salty was very overpriced for 2 slices. Even though we didn’t have pudding looking at others who did they looked delicious. The table are very close together with little room to move. The Loos were pretty and clean. However I was disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the venue and the staff, but we're sorry to hear the food didn’t meet your expectations. We’ll address the issues with the chicken Milanese and review the smoked salmon portion to ensure better value. We also appreciate your comments on the table spacing and will consider guest comfort moving forward. We hope you’ll give us another chance to deliver a more satisfying experience next time.

On arrival at the Brasserie we were told the cloakroom was too full for our coats! This immediately annoyed me as it was a really cold day and we were both wearing long, bulky coats and scarves. Inevitably, trying to squeeze between tables to access the banquette seat, my companion's coat swept a glass off the table. Once that was cleared up she had to scrunch her coat up beside her in the minimal space available and I had to hang mine on the back of my chair where it swept the floor nicely. People came and went and I didn't see anyone else struggling with their coats. One older lady and one young woman not to be bothered with, perhaps? Food was very good. Service otherwise very good. I've noticed before that the maitre 'd is primed to approach and ask if they can bring you the bill even when you have champagne still in your glass. If that's the way they want to do it maybe they could work on getting your starters cleared and your main course on the table a bit quicker...For £100 per head on average if you have champagne or cocktails, starter and main dish, I think they could be a bit more courteous.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience with the cloakroom and the difficulty you faced managing your coats during your visit. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially on a cold day, and we’ll be reviewing this to ensure guests are accommodated more comfortably in the future. We also appreciate your comments about the service. It’s great to hear that the food was to your liking, but we’ll be addressing the timing of course deliveries and the approach of the to make sure we’re being more attentive to guest needs. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll be using it to improve the overall experience for everyone. We hope to welcome you back soon for a more seamless visit.

Very noisy with tables tightly packed so not the best place for quiet conversation. This was at lunchtime. But the staff and the food are excellent.

Love the brasserie of light. It’s always a festive spot to visit at any time of year. The food was lovely, the service fabulous and I would have given 5 stars for everything, but my champagne glass definitely lacked champagne in it. Too small a pour in my opinion which means get the bottle next time!
