Bricco’s star has been rising steadily since restaurateur Frank DePasquale revamped the menu to feature modern interpretations of regional Italian dishes.

Bricco has garnished superlative reviews from food writers in Boston and around the country – Best Guaranteed Meal in the North End and Best Pasta in Boston just two of the most recent accolades.

The talented kitchen team creates “boutique” Italian food, so-called because it is unique, personal and created for a select and sophisticated diner. The food is complemented by an enoteca (wine bar) with an exceptional selection of all-Italian wines.

Bricco also offers a sophisticated late night scene. The chic and energetic bar serves up great one of a kind cocktails as well as brick oven pizza with gourmet toppings such as prosciutto and fresh mozzarella from Italy in addition with appetizer selections.

We have been coming for years… I love the ambiance. Festive as always. The waitress was rude… and had zero intrapersonal skill. The food was average. Not a standard meal I am use to a Bricco… I’m going to give them grace and today was just a random event. Will be amazing as usual next time!

The food wasn’t the best, it was okay. The servers were rude, they came twice to clear my friends’s plate while she was still eating, not very inviting. Not sure if I’ll be back.

We found this place overpriced, mediocre and entirely miss-able. With so many good places to eat in this neighborhood, our strong recommendation is to keep walking to a smaller, more caring venue where the food will actually be delicious.

Ate upstairs and had a lovely dinner - (a bit quieter and more preferable in my opinion on a busy Sat. ) Great service. My friends raved about the espresso martini. But I am a martini snob and I was sure I wouldn’t like it with the xtra ingredients (Frangelica & Di Sirano) I was wrong. It’s delish. So good I had two and at $21 🫤 Not a glass of sugar. We had the short ribs & they were amazing. Large portion & very flavorful. Gnocchis were decent. Seafood dish didn’t disappoint. Pricey but nicey. I’ll be back. Oh and the Eggplant parm appetizer- I wish they had it as a meal. So good.

I was looking forward to this place but somewhat disappointed.Place was at capacity by 6pm. We had a reservation ( visiting out of state and came highly recommended) . Tables are on top of each other , loud . My portion of the special Rositto was small and lacked the seafood. Service was OK.We enjoyed our dinner at Trattoria Il Panino the night before and was much better.

Really loved it here. They seated us early and the service was friendly and prompt. Delicious meal. The ricotta pillows and espresso martini are equally excellent.
