   We dined on the last day of Brilliant Restaurant. Thankfully they have a “brilliant” new venture opening in a couple of weeks, Brilliant Gastro Pub. The vibe is the best we’ve experienced, more so than the Michelin restaurants we’ve been to. It’s like home from home. Beautiful background music, amazing attentive service, wonderful hosting by the owners. Just lovely. Thank you so much. So looking forward to the new venture. Here’s to another 50yrs & more!    Delicious authentic Punjabi food, exactly what we were after. The service was impeccable and I'm gutted this is closing down. We will definitely be coming to the new gastro pub in Southall Green once that opens.

   Having eating at Brilliant for over 40yrs, the food is still very good, however the portions have got smaller and prices are very expensive. Its a shame that Brilliant is moving from Old Southal to another venue, may lose its authentic soul ;-(

   Have been going to the Brilliant restaurant since the 1970s and was very sad to see the decline over the years. Travelled 25 miles yesterday and was overall left disappointed with the standard and also how tiny the mains were. The mixed bhajia were burnt and in fairness Mr Anand did make us a fresh portion which was much better. Taking the Keema off the menu was a huge disappointment as this was a quality dish and the online menu had clearly not been updated. Can only wish them well with the new business venture but it is quite often the small details that make the difference and here this seemed to be lacking. Not quite the farewell meal we were hoping for after making such a long journey.
