   This place is a hot mess. The hostesses were outrageously rude. I used to be a hostess & server, so I tend to give tons of leeway here, but wow— they were just mean. The front was packed with parties waiting for tables, including those who’d made reservations (we had to wait only an additional 20 min., but one woman said she’d waited 2 hours after her reservation time!!), but there were visibly several tables that were open that just hadn’t been cleaned while I saw service staff walk past empty handed, perfectly capable of cleaning them off as they by. When we did get our table, things became sort of laughably bad. Our server was visibly drunk. He was sweaty & slurring his words. We ordered a couple of absurdly priced wheat beers, and when he brought them he apologized because the orange slide from one had fallen onto his hand. He had it still balancing there on the web of his sweaty hand. Like, why that choice? Why not just take a few steps to grab a new orange slice from the bar? Or even take BOTH orange slices out & serve the beers without? Anyhow, the whole dinner was just bizarre and bad. They served us bread with no bread plates. The bread smelled like play-doh. The poor manager was running around trying to help & she slapped down silverware for us, half upside down, along with a random stack of paper napkins. The whole time we were there, there were empty tables with dirty dishes as well as trash all over the floor under them. There was no music, but there was this incessant beeping from the unanswered phone (or maybe a fire alarm that needed new batteries)? Genuinely tragic. I’m shocked they’re still in business.

   We had a 4:30 reservation on 12/25 and I checked in as soon as we got there. The person at the desk said she would note we had arrived. After waiting 25 minutes and watching multiple parties being seated that came in well after us, I went to the desk to inquire about our position. She finally admitted she did not get us checked in. It was very frustrating

   It was great it was open on Christmas Day and the crowd would indicate it was appreciated by many. However, they were understaffed. We felt for the servers who were scrambling to take care of the customers. The food was “so so” I ordered fettuccini with chicken and spinach, it was pretty awful. Still I appreciated that Brio was open.

   Sadly, our holiday meal included a screaming toddler and lukewarm food even though the restaurant was not busy. We saw most employees chatting rather than serving. Nice decor but average food and service.

   Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though we had reservations. We were seated near the restrooms and had constant traffic weaving around and bumping into our seats. Food was average at best. Ordered the chicken marsala. Mashed potatoes were bland, marsala sauce had congealed on the chicken and the asparagus had little to no seasoning. Regardless, our server did a great job.

   We ate here at the holidays. We were very disappointed. Everything was below expectations. Our silverware was delivered to middle of table, after asking for some. Took a long time to get drinks. Waited a long time for food. We were a party of 5 and everyone except for one got their dinner together and everyone was finished by the time the final person got theirs. The food was less than par. We were there for an hour and a half. Bathrooms were dirty. I understand the holidays are a busy time. But this experience made us not want to come back.

   Our server David??? was great. Food was delicious but I was disappointed they were out of NY strip at 5pm. The main problem was the hostess that greeted us was very rude and chided us for using OpenTable for making reservations. I made reservations at 5:45p for 6 and then had to change it twice due to illnesses. She couldn’t find the reservation and said the internet was bad. I showed her my reservation with confirmation number and then she lectured me for changing it including how I was trying to jump ahead of those waiting at the bar. She told me to come back in an hour with ONLY 4 of the 6 members of my party. While talking to my family about another restaurant she inexplicably found a booth to seat us at. I understand miscommunication happens etc but to BLAME/LECTURE the customer for properly using the reservation system? I will not be back.

   We reserved our spot so the wait wasn’t long at all. I’d recommend not sitting anywhere near the door when it’s cold outside, including the bar area. Outside doors expose everyone at the front of the restaurant making for a uncomfortable experience. I even requested a table away from the entry and they still sat us at one of the closet tables.

    Restaurant was too bright-no ambiance. We had reservation but had to wait 30 min to b seated. Waiter was very disheveled in appearance and behavior. Food did not come out at the same time, as a matter of fact, everyone was almost finished when I got mine. Food was not good and not hot. We will not go there again.
