   Atmosphere was great. Food was brought out cold. Couldn't get anyone to get the condiments to me before the rest of my food was cold.

   Nothing but great reviews about everything. I had read some good and some bad reviews prior to making a reservation and was considering another restaurant. But so glad I didn’t. Casual, fun place with great food, especially if you are a Forest Gump fan and an ocean view too. Special kudos to our great server Brandon!

   Our server was lovely, attentive and courteous. We waited 45 minutes for our lunch but to be fair we had a party of 10. We sat outside which was nice, but the birds were crazy! I had the clam chowder. Which was the best! The sangria was not good at all. Sadly I won’t return.

   When we arrived at the restaurant we were told they had a 140 person party and that it would be an hour and 40 minute wait. I told the man I made reservations and he said they aren’t doing reservations online, you should’ve called. I don’t know how I was supposed to know that because I clicked the link on their website it took me to open table and they had open spots and never told me. I then went to another worker and showed her my reservation and she was kind enough to give us a table with a very nice view of the water. However the table was not wiped off there was sauce and crumbs on it. We were given no napkins and told they ran out. Then we waited for a server to show up about 20 minutes later. After placing our order it took 55 minutes for the food to arrive. When it did arrive it was delicious however. I ordered the coconut shrimp as an appetizer and it was pretty good, nothing special as far as coconut shrimp goes, (I think I only liked it because we were starving at this point). Then for my entree I got Maker Marks Salmon. The salmon was delicious and it was served with rice and broccoli which was also very good. Overall the experience left room for improvement but it was a good meal when it finally arrived.

   We had a reservation for 7:15. Get there to check in and the girl at the front said she can’t honor our reservation because there’s already a big party inside. Then said that she would have to seat all the walk ins before she could seat us which could take 1 hr and 45 minutes and said “but we close in 2 hours sooooo….” We went elsewhere. This was for our anniversary and we drove over an hour to get here just to get turned away when we had a reservation. Awful service.

   It took 45 minutes from when we ordered our food to get it, waitress only came back 1 to ask if we wanted anything more to drink.

    Food was better than expected being a chain restaurant. Staff was great. Location is fun. We are locals and love to visit John’s Pass.
