    This was our first time and won’t be our last! Everything was excellent! The guacamole was so good with the fresh tortilla chips. We ordered 2 tacos each but could only eat one they were so big and delicious. The house margarita was excellent as well!

    Bueno Malo is usually amazing. Perhaps an off nite. Nachos portion got a lot smaller and the service staff completely disrupted our dinner w more than a dozen repetitive interruptions and asked to take plates while still eating and pushed the drinks when still half filled. First bad experience in last 10 visits. Well keep going back and hope they get back on track.

    Great experience for our 2nd time at bueno malo. We sat at the bar the bartender made great drinks! Food was delish! We recommend the tuna sliders and corn appetizer and you can’t go wrong with any of the tacos ! Enjoy!

    Neighborhood spot we had not visited in a while but were happy to have picked it for an early dinner. What stands out the most is the consistently excellent service. The young staff is clearly trained in how to provide attentive service without hovering. The service was so good , it highlighted the mediocre service of other restaurants we normally frequent. Bueno Malo management clearly have a mission to train their staff. Food is on the pricey side for Cal/Mex but portions are generous and delicious . The beans and rice for the table are a nice touch but lack flavor. Chips and salsa are an up charge but the chips get refills. We were happy to have rediscovered this local gem and will be coming back soon.
