   The children's mac and cheese was an adult looking portion of rigatoni with cheese on top that we had to request. This is not what we expect for a child's meal. We made reservations but had to wait an additional 10 minutes for our table because only high tops were available, though we requested main dining area. The server seemed quite new, very friendly though, and honestly the highlight of the experience. All of the food was quite bland, and we kept getting offered freebies to make up for the wait and the issue with the kids' meal, that the server even said this was not what he had expected.

   Disappointing Mother's Day experience. I've come to expect that Mother's Day brunches are opportunities for restaurants to jack their prices up and to take advantage of customers who feel an obligation to treat their Moms on their special day, but $42 for a buffet that wasn't even at Cracker Barrel quality? C'mon guys -- you can do much better.

   Burntwood Tavern did an excellent job of handling the Mother’s Day crowd. Food was just great. Good food selections and great service!

   Went for mother's day. Food was cold, 2nd batch of bacon barely cooked, desserts weren't anything special, not really a $40+ / person menu. I know mother's day is busy and they're pumping out food as quickly as possible but then it should be hot.

   The atmosphere was fine and the porch is nice although facing a parking lot. Fish special was cooked well but under seasoned and came with overcooked plain white rice. Wine was not good. Kitchen was backed up and missed part of our order. Overall average but not great.

   I love the atmosphere of Burntwood Tavern, however, the service this day was not up to par. The food is good, but raising prices and serving smaller portions is not the best value.

    Our server was amazing! Food and drinks were good. New menu has a salmon salad that just isn’t as good as the previous. Lacked flavor. All in all a good experience.
