   I had the pleasure of being served by Nev at Butcher and Barrel, and she was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we sat down, she was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. Nev made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. Her timing was perfect, and she had great knowledge of the menu, offering thoughtful suggestions that made our meal even better. It's clear she truly cares about her guests and takes pride in her service. Thank you, Nev, for making our experience so enjoyable you're a gem!

   The waitress was wonderful and attentive! The food was out of this world! I had the pork and it was the best I have ever had! Everyone enjoy their meals. I love the building it is in with the brick sides and open ceiling! Best place ever!

   Waste of 2 hours of a night. This restaurant doesn't deserve any more of my time with a review. They know it was horrible and should have rectified it when we were there

   Great food and location. Only negative was the time it took to get our food. Our server gave us a heads up so we weren’t caught off guard. Seems like the restaurant could use a couple more staff in the kitchen/bar on a Saturday night.

   I'm really sorry to say that our experience at Butcher and Barrel was far below expectations. We had been several weeks prior and had a great experience, however this last visit was very disappointing. The main issue was the service. Maybe our server was just having a bad day but her service was not good at all. She got one of the dinner orders wrong. She never checked on our table. She did not bring steak knives to our guests who ordered meat dishes, and just didn't seem to care. I could empathize if it was a crowded restaurant but there weren't that many tables of people and other servers working that night. The food also had issues. Most of the sides such as the risotto, potatoes, and quinoa were too salty and the fish was over cooked. It's such a nice location downtown. We really hope that things will improve.

   Excellent service with very pleasant atmosphere. Shrimp appetizer very well presented and excellent taste. All of the food was appropriately prepared to our request. Portions were appropriate. Wine selections complimented that food choices.

   We had a lovely experience. The food was amazing, and the four of us enjoyed a few hours of food and conversation that we cherish. The people who served our meal were professional and attentive. The kitchen seemed to be somewhat slow, likely due to trying to accommodate larger parties and a restaurant filled to capacity for well over two hours. I highly recommend Butcher and Barrel, and I know that experience in their new, larger venue will soon have that kitchen humming again!

   We chose to visit the Butcher & Barrel for a special occasion, and it was absolutely worth it. The service was outstanding, and the ambiance left a great impression on us. The furniture is stylish and blends together beautifully. Additionally, the friendly staff gave us excellent advice and recommended the perfect wine to pair with our dinner. The food was truly delicious, with the meat cooked to perfection. The gravies had a deep, rich flavor and complemented the dishes wonderfully. Portions were quite generous, leaving us completely satisfied. On top of that, the price level was absolutely reasonable for the quality and quantity we received. When compared to top-tier restaurants, the Butcher & Barrel is very close to entering that league. Considering their short history and the fact that the restaurant has just recently opened, I am confident they’ll reach that level soon. We’re already looking forward to returning and enjoying another wonderful evening there.

    We had the pork chop, salmon, and beef short rib. Great portion size, exceptional preparation, presentation and perfectly blended flavors. Exceptional Cosmos. Well made desserts, and coffee served in a French press at the table
